Kilmun is a newcomer to keep an eye on but NEVER A MULL MOMENT is one of those who set a fair enough standard and he may be hard to peg back; Miss Frangipane and Equinine look the two most interesting rivals. Although yet to nose in front from five starts, the selection has shown more than enough to take a race of this ilk and looked a tad unlucky not to hold on last time out at Catterick on rain softened ground. All underfoot conditions seem to come alike to him but this speedier surface won't hinder and he looks sure to give it a bold go from the front. Kilmun, owned by Sunpak Potatoes, was cheap as chips at the sales in July given his useful relations; however he has obviously been a slow learner or had his problems. Fatal Attraction has three solid runs to her name without looking a superstar; she needs to improve for the longer trip, whilst Equinine may relish dropping down a furlong in distance this afternoon. A new trip is also tried by the once-raced Mayorstone who looked clueless on her debut at Thirsk and her stable took this race last year, however a bigger threat may be Miss Frangipane. Half a length was all that separated her and Crushing at Yarmouth last time and a repeat of that run may be enough to secure victory with leading apprentice Mr. Tylicki booked for the ride. Not the strongest of maidens, and perhaps a good opportunity for Never A Mull Moment to take a starring role.
