MAGNANIMITY earned himself a penalty for this with a convincing success in the Grade 2 Bobbyjo Bar Novices' at Fairyhouse when Rigour Back Bob, who was conceding 3lbs, was over five lengths back in fourth and Willie Mullins' pair Rhyl Accord and Definitive Edge disappointing in fifth and sixth. While that race was over 2m4f and the winner is untried at today's trip, the overall form looks better than anything achieved by these rivals though Ad Idem could pose a threat. Pauline Gavin's charge looked all over the winner of a tough novices' handicap at Fairyhouse over this distance but was eventually just run out of it by Quita De La Roque. Winning pointer American Bob may find the going on the fast side but Arabella Boy has always looked as though this sort of trip would suit and he will be better for his run behind Cousin Vinny at Fairyhouse.
