SON AMIX arrived from France with a big reputation and started a short-priced favourite on his debut for new connections at Thurles in January but ran a shocker behind Politeo. He quickly put that behind him with an easy success at Navan before an excellent run in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham behind Sanctuaire. Politeo hasn't quite gone on from his debut success and is firmly held by Doctor Deejay on their recent run behind Fingal Rock at Fairyhouse. Doctor Deejay's trainer Willie Mullins is also represented by Final Approach, a useful performer on the flat and a very easy winner of a maiden at Downpatrick on his hurdling debut. Dermot Weld's hurdling newcomer Sublime Talent, a winner at Limerick last week, is one to keep an eye on as is while Kotkidy, who had some useful form in France last season.
