An awful contest where stakes should definitely be kept to a minimum if risked at all, and SABORIDO is a tentative selection to outpoint Light Dubai and Proficiency. The Amanda Perrett-trained selection was thrashed last time over 1m 6f at Goodwood in a similar type of race, but had previously shown the stamina for at least 1m 4f. That should stand him in good stead at this venue, and if you can forgive him that last start then some of his form is as good as most here. With first-time blinkers hopefully a sign of a positive upturn in fortunes we will chance him. Mick Channon sends Light Dubai up from the south and this Fantastic Light filly showed that 10f held no fears in the spring, though she seems to have lost her way a bit lately. She has gone well from higher marks so must be considered. Proficiency is also proven over the distance and doesn't seem to mind what ground she races on. An inside pitch will also help her, so don't rule her out. The handicapper has not been hard on Wing Diva in her first attempt in this sphere. She should be at home over the trip and with the yard in form she can get closely involved. The race does not get any better for studying and Saborido is a tentative pick.
