This is a tricky affair to assess with only Moonshine Beach looking truly at home over the course and distance, but with his effort at Chepstow on his seasonal re-appearance proving disappointing, a chance is taken with winning chaser Full House, who was staying on at the finish of a shorter trip last time. That was Full House's first run on the Flat for almost three years, but he won over fences twice this season and will relish the fast ground. He stays two and a half miles over fences so should have no problem with the trip. He was a good fourth on his rare Flat start last time, staying on well over an inadequate trip on ground softer than he would like. He is very much an unknown quantity but he is up against rivals with little recent form to recommend them. Haatmey is the only exception to that, with a hard fought success at Redcar to his credit. That win was over a much shorter trip however, and he is untried over this distance. The form of the Redcar success is questionable, and the handicapper agrees, having only raised Haatmey two pounds for the win. Prairie Sun has also won recently, seeing a hat trick bid denied at Newcastle last time, but he is eleven pounds higher than when last successful and may be in the handicapper's grip. Full House is a sporting selection.
