This is a tricky affair with only limited information to go on with the majority of the field seeing a racecourse for the first time, but a chance is taken that Angeletta will be good enough to lead them home. Mick Channon's Pretty Majestic was a good second to the useful Gilded on her debut and was consequently sent off an odds on favourite at Redcar next time. She was beaten into fourth in what seemed a modest affair and she is passed over here. Barry Hills' Bahamian Love has had two outings to date and shaped encouragingly last time when beaten just over three lengths at Salisbury. That was an improved effort and further progression will see her in the shake up here. Angeletta is the most experienced filly in the field and she has shown improvement with each of her three runs. Her effort when chasing home Eloquent Rose here two outings ago was given a boost when the winner took a decent contest at Thirsk, while she tired in the closing stages at Haydock last time, having led until the final furlong but keeping on well to be a close third. That was a good performance, and a chance is taken that she can re-produce that effort on a faster surface. Angeletta can get punters off to a winning start to the evening.
