Verdict

Deep Squeeze, Ramvaswani and Top Brass make the shortlist here, with Deep Squeeze taken to come on for his first run of the season. That was his first outing for a year, and it followed a series of good runs in a lightly raced career. Provided he has recovered fully from those exertions, he can take this competitive affair. After scoring at Plumpton, Ramvaswani has run well to be placed on his last two starts. He can go well again, though may need to come down the ratings to win. Top Brass was hving his first run at Newcastle recently when a good second. Normal progression can see him play a leading role, but Deep Squeeze looks the answer.
