A tight betting heat despite the small turn out and preference is for Classic Lash while Binny Bay and Tender Touch appeal as the likeliest alternatives. The selection has been in good heart of late, notching a string of placed efforts, and looked likely to prevail here last time before coming to grief at the final fence. The son of Classic Cheer was well clear at the time and is taken to gain compensation off the same mark. BinnyBay has struggled since landing the spoils at Bangor last season but is slipping down the weights and should be sharper for his recent reappearance after a two-month break so can't be discounted. Tender Touch got off the mark over fences at Southwell last time and shapes as the step up in trip will suit so also has to be respected off his current mark but the percentage call is for Classic Lash to come out on top.
