Not a race that will take much winning and the vote goes to Bodfari Rose while Posh Stick and Bobanvi rate as the main dangers. Alan Bailey's consistent mare has put up a string of useful efforts in the context of this race and a repeat of her close second off a mark of 85 in a fair Uttoxeter handicap last time makes her the one to beat with the step up in trip unlikely to pose an inconvenience. Posh Stick has been comfortably held on her last two starts in handicaps and her overall form leaves her with something to find with the selection on these terms. Bobanvi has been in respectable form in low-grade staying handicaps on the Flat of late to suggest she has place prospects but may find this an inadequate test of stamina to upset Bodfari Rose who appears to have been found a winning opportunity and can take full advantage.
