With none of the newcomers catching the eye on breeding it should pay to stick with something that has experience, which brings the likes of Chinsola, the well drawn Perfect Distance and Cut And Dried to the fore, with the latter getting the nod. An early foal, he is from the same family as the high-class juvenile sprinter Sizzling Melody. Green on his debut at Sandown, he can be expected to have learnt plenty from that effort and it is interesting that Kieren Fallon again takes the reins. The biggest threat may come from Chinsola, who showed plenty of pace, from a bad draw at Nottingham last week. Although that was probably an average contest, it was an improvement on what he showed on his debut and similar improvement would put him with a shout here. Perfect Distance was an expensive failure when only fifth at Goodwood, but that form was given a boost when the third Park Ave Princess scored at Musselburgh on Monday evening. This trip may suit her better and she is to be feared from her plum draw next to the rails. Of the others Little Flute is sure to be sharper for his debut at Warwick, but he could have been better drawn, so Kieren Fallon looks to have this Cut And Dried.
