A poor contest to finish with and although he hasn't won for nearly two years, Fife And Drum is still a major player at this level along with Alsyati and Molly's Secret, with the latter getting the vote. She comes into this on the back of a fair effort at Warwick, under todays apprentice, when just failing to peg back Chevin in a similar contest to this. She is clearly in good form and looks more likely to run her race than some of her rivals. Fife And Drum isn't the easiest of rides, but is more than capable on his day. He won't mind the fast ground and runs off the same mark as when runner-up to Lara Falana at Salisbury last year. Alsyati is from a stable enjoying a good season and has one of the more experienced riders on board. However, he is a horse who needs things to fall just right for him and the safer option is Molly's Secret, who goes well for her young rider.
