With the ground appearing to be against Knight Legend, Another Ambition and Retrievethelegend we will side with QUITO DU TRESOR to win this handicap chase. The other trio would certainly have claims if the ground got soft, but with little prospect of that they have to charter unknown territory to win. Quito Du Tresor has nothing to prove on a sound surface and certainly stays this far, though he also has a bit to prove himself given that he has not yet won from a mark this high. Today could be the day. Stagecoach Amber has a similar profile, going well on this ground but plenty high enough in the weights, and he is also not nearly in such good recent form. Soubriquet has gone up 8lbs for winning at Sedgefield and may not have enough to repeat the dose and we will stick with Quito Du Tresor.
