Given their connections both Lord Lescribaa and Ash High will probably both be short enough here and HASPER may therefore represent a bit of value and is the suggestion. Sally Forster's veteran will certainly act on the ground and over the trip, and while he is thoroughly exposed we can at least rely upon his effort. He will be better suited by the return to this far after a good effort at Hexham and he can score. Lord Lescribaa is far less exposed after just eight starts and went well enough on fast ground at Newton Abbot last time. He should stay this far and is respected. Ash High has it to prove on the ground and has shown all his best when there has been plenty of cut. He is a guaranteed stayer but we will take him on. Hurricane Jack remains a maiden after 14 attempts but is no hopeless cause judged by his run over course and distance a few weeks ago, when he proved he acts on this going. Gershwinner goes well at the track and has dropped to a handy mark so is not ruled out, but Hasper is the one for us.
