An interesting maiden can go to Minority Report, with Successor and Torchlight expected to make a bold show as well. Minority Report caught the eye when staying on into third behind Magic Merlin on his Chepstow debut three weeks ago, and although not seeing the racetrack until the age of four, is sure to be well placed by Luca Cumani. One of his main rivals, Successor, was a beaten favourite at Haydock on his belated reappearance, finishing well down the field. The faster conditions here may bring about some improvement in this half-brother to Big Moment who will probably fare better when upped in trip. Torchlight was eased when beaten on her return at Windsor and may be better than that run indicated. She can make the frame at least, while both Pending and Jolizero should be watched as they return to the fray. Of the others, Roger Charlton's newcomer Zathonia is worth noting. She is related to El Gran Senor on the dam's side, should get middle distances then, and connections will be keen to enhance her paddock value. Although Minority Report will not be lined up with any such assignations, having been gelded, he has the recent form in the bag to be worth siding with here.
