Boulevin could well be up to defying a penalty here, with Fiore di Bosco, Ariodante and Shifty seen as the main dangers. In truth this should not take much winning, and as Boulevin does not appear to be harshly treated despite a 6lb penalty incurred for his comfortable success at Chepstow eight days ago, he is the one to beat, with James Rogers in the plate again. Fiore di Bosco hails from an in-form stable but has more to do than when scoring at Wolverhampton. Ariodante gave cause for encouragement when making most until headed at Yarmouth and should go well, while Shify gets a chance to atone after failing to land a blow under Heather Mcgee when fancied at Carlisle on Monday. Other than those mentioned, nothing else stands out here, and we return to Boulevin as the answer in the finale.
