Magic Peak can improve enough to beat some other scopey fillies such as La Matanza, Famcred and Harvest Queen to name but a few. Magic Peak came good at the third time of asking when accounting for a couple of James Fanshawe's inmates at Windsor last month, and the feeling is that she will be seen to even better effect on this faster ground on what is her handicap debut. Sir Michael Stoute has his team tuned up nicely and this daughter of Danehill could be primed for an assault on a big summer prize after today. David Barron is another trainer with his team in fine fettle, and although La Matanza was 50-1 when scoring on her Redcar bow, she has quite an engine and should go well. Famcred was all the rage on her return at Lingfield but got turned over. The return to Turf and step up in trip will be in her favour, and the Cumani filly is yet another that has to be respected. Harvest Queen returns to the scene of her maiden victory, but she has plenty of weight for that success last month, and although there is improvement to come no doubt, she and the rest have it to do against Magic Peak.
