Pretty Pollyanna beat Angel's Hideaway and Gossamer Wings out of sight in the Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes on the July Course here in the summer and bravely held off Signora Cabello in the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville last month. She is a very speedy filly and is the form pick in this but Ballydoyle has won the last two renewals and has three entered this year. Signora Cabello had Gossamer Wings and SO PERFECT (NAP) behind when winning the Queen Mary at Ascot but the latter has made the expected improvement upped to 6f since, beating the smart Skitter Skatter at the Curragh and then finishing a close-up second to the top-class colt Advertise in the Phoenix Stakes. She’s going the right way and should be some value here ahead of Fairyland, who beat The Mackem Bullet in a desperate finish to the Lowther at York. Lady Kaya has twice finished behind Skitter Skatter recently and is having her first run away from the Curragh.
