        Verdict

        Both the runner-up and fourth have franked the form of Luxor’s win at Wolverhampton and William Haggas’ colt has every chance of a follow-up here, despite conceding weight all round. Fastman was returning from a break when second at York earlier this month. He made a winning start at Thirsk in May, though steps up in trip again today. Princess Palliser's yearling price doubled when she changed hands earlier this year and the son of Slade Power is an interesting newcomer for John Quinn but there should be more to come from JUST BE FRIENDLY. A half-sister to five winners, she’s been too keen in two runs to date over 7f so dropping back a furlong should suit.
