Penalised for winning over today’s trip at Sandown, Barristan The Bold is usually held up for a late run so a wide draw may not be too much of a hindrance. But both of the Koukash-owned runners have a shout with Gabrial The Giant expected to improve after a debut fourth here but GABRIAL THE ONE is preferred. The latter was beaten only a nose in a course and distance handicap earlier this month and should make a bold bid back in novice company. Jensue is unproven over 7f with the less exposed Pop The Cork and Jojo making more appeal.
