slowly into stride, held up in touch, hung left and headway from over 2f out, led over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, stayed on
close up, ridden over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
dwelt, tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened
close up, ridden and every chance over 2f out, weakened final furlong
keen, tracked leaders, ridden and weakened over 2f out
held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, effort entering final furlong, kept on same pace
dwelt, soon prominent, ridden over 2f out, edged left and led inside final furlong, stayed on
dwelt, held up in rear, switched left over 1f out, kept on, never dangerous
Of those with experience, Thakafaat and Singhalese make most appeal here, but they could be vulnerable to one of the newcomers and we will take a chance on Celtique, while Dancinginthedark can also go well. The Celtic Swing filly Celtique is bred to go well at this trip as a juvenile, being a half-sister to dual seven furlong winner Top Romance. She should not mind the ground if her bloodlines are anything to go by, and she will surely be fully wound up to perform first time. Dancinginthedark is another debutante who could go well, though she should perhaps show us more at three, while of the experienced pair mentioned, Singhalese has taken a couple of races to come to hand and can now go well, though Thakafaat performed with plenty of credit behind Road Rage first time and may have more to offer with that under her belt. Even so, neither are likely to have the scope of Celtique, who can score.
