Redoubtable, Mickledor and Sam The Sorcerer look the biggest dangers in this apprentice handicap with the vote going to the last named. Sam The Sorcerer looks one of the less exposed individuals in the race with only seven runs to his name. He managed to win a little race on the all weather back in May and with only two runs since ran a great race last time out over course and distance to finish third behind Shamrock Tea. He is taken to last home today and bid to make all. Of his rivals Redoubtable poses the greatest threat as David Chapman¿s evergreen stable favourite is bidding for his 18th career win and at the age of thirteen has already been on the score board on the all weather this winter. Even though his last couple of runs have been below par this is definitely within his grasp and is sure to put up a bold show. Mickledor is another who has been in form this summer with two wins at Nottingham and Southwell. The handicapper has not made things easy for him but his latest run showed encouragement so a big run can be expected. But for the winner we return to Sam The Sorcerer.
