Prince Cyrano was only just denied at Sandown and is taken to make amends here, with Hout Bay and Strawberry Patch others to consider. Prince Cyrano has been slowly recapturing his form of late and may have beaten White Ledger in another stride. He will be fancied to go one better on these terms and gets the vote over Hout Bay. The latter looked a little one-paced behind Kings College Boy at Chester but will handle the ground here. Strawberry Patch was taken out of a contest at Ayr recently, possibly due to the conditions, and has a chance of adding to his Newbury success over Brave Burt. he has hit form at the right time and should be in at the finish as well. Foley Millennium failed to overhaul the gutsy Maddie's a Jem at Nottingham but ran on gamely enough, while of the rest, Taboor, strongly ridden to get up on the line at Brighton, makes most appeal. A close affair on paper can go to Prince Cyrano.
