Muzher and Zaif have probably the best form on offer among those to have raced previously but neither looks to be a horse to rely on and a chance is taken on the newcomer Dukedom. Sir Michael Stoute could hardly have his team in better form right now and this son of Highest Honor is bred to be useful and handle the cut in the ground so he may be good enough first time out. John Gosden introduces a son of Fantastic Light in the shape of Imperial Star but he is likely to be better on a faster surface, while Ed Dunlop's Rahy colt Samarinda may need more time. Zaif would have claims on the form shown on his second start as a juvenile but disappointed on his reappearance and more solid claims are probably held by the Barry Hills-trained Muzher, who should go on the ground. Dukedom has a decent pedigree tough and he gets the vote to make a winning debut.
