In depth

Verdict

SUNRAY MAJOR, a half-brother to the brilliant Kingman and a host of others winners, started odds-on for his debut here a couple of weeks ago and supporters only had concerns when he missed the break. He's penalised as is Montather, who also started odds-on for his debut at Chelmsford where he stayed on strongly to lead close home over today's trip. Late Arrival looked as though further was required when staying on here earlier this month but Imrahor, by Kingman out of a Sea The Stars mare, gained plenty of admirers at Newbury in September and can only improve.
