Ivatheengine was just beaten on his debut last May before scoring at Windsor a couple of weeks later. He didn't reappear until December when easily landing a novices' race at Kempton so the lack of a recent run won't be a problem. Vasari hasn't run since just failing to hold on at Wolverhampton in September but is on a nice mark for her handicap debut while Newcastle winner Clareyblue was in touch until weakening close home over the trip at Haydock last week. Waddat maintained his unbeaten all-weather record when making all over the trip at Chelmsford though is up 5lb in this slightly better race. PUNCHBOWL FLYER would have gone close in a competitive handicap at Newbury last week but for hanging left and, with just 1lb extra to carry, can go one better.
