Frankie Dettori would have had a tough choice trying to choose between the two Godolphin runners here in the shape of Blue Ksar and Windsor Knot but looks to have chosen the right one in the former; however, he may have to settle for minor honours with preference for Mashaahed. The selection has not won for over a year but has been going well in defeat recently, including on a soft surface, and he looks the percentage call. Rae Guest's Bahia Breeze has a similar profile and has to be respected on ground that suits. Blythe Knight is capable of taking a hand but may struggle under his penalty to give weight away all round, while Illustrious Blue may want a faster surface. Similar comments apply to John Dunlop's Tell and a safer bet looks to be Mashaahed who gets the vote.
