Brave Prospector looked a shade unlucky on his Windsor debut on softish ground at the beginning of the month and has to be respected in this better company but Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt may have to settle for a minor role again and preference is for the newcomer Etosha, with Insaaf rated the pick of the remainder. The selection represents the in-form Godolphin yard of Saeed bin Suroor and this Cape Cross half-brother to the useful Mathematician is bred to be useful and handle the cut in the ground. The Barry Hills-trained Provence showed promise on his debut but is far from certain to handle the cut in the ground, while Richard Hannon's Chartist makes only limited appeal on his debut. The Michael Jarvis-trained Tawaash would probably prefer a faster surface and of more interest may be the William Haggas-trained Insaaf who ran promisingly on her Ascot debut. However, she is another that may want faster ground and it may be worth taking a chance on Godolphin's newcomer Etosha.
