ICELANDIC has some good form this year and is preferred here to Peace Offering and the returning Befortyfour. Frank Sheridan's Selkirk gelding is one of the highest rated in the line-up and he certainly wasn't disgraced when last seen at Windsor behind JJ The Jet Plane. Similarly, his third to Utmost Respect at the Curragh reads well and now reunited with Hayley Turner who rode him to victory last year at Doncaster, he may prove hard to beat. The pace in the race may come from Peace Offering and Angus Newz, of which the former is more interesting, however Befortyfour is another pacy sort. Michael Jarvis' son of Kyllachy steps up in trip today but has a bit to find with Peace Offering on their run at Nottingham last year, especially as he is worse off at today's weights. Fat Boy is speedy and he steps back up to six furlongs today, whilst Group Therapy and Nota Bene are decent handicappers. At a price Galeota may improve on a comeback run at Chepstow, however it is Icelandic who gets our nomination.
