Peter Chapple-Hyam has his string in flying form at present and looks the man to side with again with Wellington Hall, who is selected in preference to the lightly raced Tawqeet and Quizzene. There may also be a little bit more to come from Night Spot now that he appears to be getting his act together and he has sound place claims on the best of his efforts. Quizzene was a little disappointing at the Royal meeting at York and ran a puzzling race. He had previously been very progressive and could easily bounce back in this easier grade of contest. He looks sure to be a popular choice. As does Tawqeet, who bolted up in a tough handicap at Newbury last month and has to be respected on that form. He has a bit more on his plate here but, has plenty of scope for improvement and will be dangerous to ignore completely. However, Wellington Hall has the edge in terms of experience and, as he obviously acts well at the track, the son of Halling may prove to be too wily for his rivals in the finale.
