Main Aim merits the utmost respect and Rowe Park appears to be returning to form but we'll select PEACE OFFERING. Main Aim has had just four career starts and only one has been over sprint trips which came on his latest start and was his most impressive performance to date. He ran out a ready winner of a competitive six furlong race at Doncaster from the well handicapped Gift Horse. He should be able to hold his own at this higher level but the selection is a battle hardened individual who is a proven performer in this grade and a specialist at this trip. Peace Offering has held his form well all season, winning twice and should be hard to keep out of the frame with trip, track, grade and ground all to suit. Rowe Park was beaten a neck by Judd Street in last year's renewal and both take their chances again here. Judd Street has responded well to a change of headgear, finishing a close fifth behind Moorhouse Lad at Newbury before landing a handicap at Haydock and he should be in the mix if the blinkers continue to work. Rowe Park has been struggling for form but finished just one place and three quarters of a length behind Judd Street at Newbury when wearing cheekpieces for the first time. That was more encouraging and he's another that could be in the firing line if building on that performance. In contrast, Hoh Mike has plenty to prove now, including his resolution, and is one to swerve for the time being in a race where there's little to choose between the principals. Peace Offering is taken to prevail.
