Verdict

Dijeerr ran well in three starts in Dubai during the winter, lacks a run since returning to the UK but that should not be a problem for Godolphin's four-year-old and he gets the vote to gain a deserved success ahead of Drumfire and Fragrancy. The last mentioned ran better at Newbury last time when chasing home Lindelaan but she does need to improve again on that effort to trouble the selection. South African raider Trinity College lost no caste in defeat behind Welsh Emperor under testing conditions at Haydock last time, should not be inconvenienced by the faster ground here but is probably not as good as he once was and looks best watched. Scartozz would have claims on the pick of his form but disappointed last time and a bigger threat may come from Drumfire, who ran well when a close third behind Cesare at Ascot when last seen. Dijeerr has solid claims on the form shown in Dubai and gets the vote to make a winning return to the UK.
