Redesignation ran well when chasing home Goodwood Starlight at Ascot last month but the winner that day did little to further advertise the form at Goodwood this week and preference is for Bandama, who gets the vote with Trans Siberian rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has a bit to find with Redesignation on Ascot running but the faster ground today should help Amanda Perrett's five-year-old who can race off the same mark as when chasing home Ask The Butler over course and distance last time. Ed Dunlop's Jeer is more than capable of taking a hand in the finish but he may be a shade high in the weights, while Baylini may do better back in a handicap today but is another that could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Paul Cole's Trans Siberian has shown a good and consistent level of form this season and he should again be thereabouts but marginal preference is for Bandama who is taken to gain a deserved success.
