Vacation is a sporting choice and edges a slender verdict over Dichoh and Mezuzah, while Neardown Beauty would be interesting if turning out quickly after her effort in the Doncaster Mile on Thursday. The last named is a game filly and is worth noting for each-way support. Boo is another that is not without a chance but he looks weighted to the hilt and it will take a very good effort from him to score on these terms. Any rain will be a big plus for Mezuzah, who finished last season with a flourish and, as Mick Easterby has traditionally done well at this meeting, he can be expected to put up a bold show; if he acts on the going. Dicho has time on his side and is less exposed than many of his rivals. He is on an upwards curve and still looks well treated despite having to carry a 5lb extra. However, the odds likely to be available about Vacation are far too tempting to ignore and, given luck in running, the four-year-old can give William Buick a sparkling introduction to the new turf season.
