A competitive enough renewal of the Beeswing can see Prince Namid take the race at the expense of Countdown and Amy Louise. Ann Duffield's runner is sure to be a bigger price than his form entitles but this workmanlike individual handles the going and is put over his best trip this afternoon. He ran creditably over six furlongs on his most recent outing and should be cherry ripe today. Countdown has done nothing wrong and has plenty of positives. On the upgrade and capable of acting on the prevailing going, it is a question as to whether the handicapper has him in his grip as yet. Amy Louise has to reverse form with Countdown this afternoon and can be expected to try and make the running. Yorkshire Blue and Hartshead are admirable performers on their day but have been done few favours by the weather. Balakiref won under a cheeky ride from Darryll Holland at Haydock and while his ability to handle the surface is not in question, this race looks much tougher. Plenty of chances among the runners and we take a value approach in heading for Prince Namid.
