Davy Crockett showed promise on his return at Redcar last month but disappointed at Carlisle last time and is probably best watched at present so a chance is taken in a moderate contest on Master Joseph, with Blue Bajan rated the best of the remainder. The last mentioned is fitted with blinkers for the first time today which may make a difference for Andrew Turnell's gelding, who is also being dropped in trip. Top weight Easy Mover gave little sign for encouragement on his reappearance and is probably best watched so of more interest may be David Barron's all-weather selling winner Melvino, who may do better no that he is stepped up to a mile having never got competitive over seven furlong son his return to turf last time. A market move for Nigel Tinkler's handicap newcomer Sake would be of interest, while My Rascal cannot be ruled out on his reappearance. The vote though goes to Mick Channon's Master Joseph, who has shown promise over further in his last two starts and should be better suited by the drop back to a mile today.
