A chance is taken with Ringsider, who is in good form and gets the nod over Fine Palette and Camrose. The Amanda Perrett-trained Soulacroix also has claims on the best of his form and is worth monitoring in the betting for signs of support at his local track. Camrose won well on good to firm ground at Kempton last season and should appreciate today's going. However, he has a little to find with the selection from their encounter at Newmarket eighteen days ago and needs luck on his side this afternoon. Fine Palette is very lightly raced for a five-year-old and should handle the conditions. Still, he has been off since last summer and is likely to need this to bring him on. Therefore, we go with the race-fit Ringsider. The son of Docksider has won a quarter of his previous starts on turf and can be relied upon to give his all at a track ideally suits his style. Admittedly he is 7lb higher than his last winning mark and will need to be on his mettle. Still, Ringsider is a tough individual and is capable of rising to the challenge presented to him today.
