In depth

Verdict

CROAGH PATRICK (NAP) has been knocking on the door throughout the year and is taken to finally get his head in front off what still looks a feasible mark of 98. He needs to be produced at the precise moment, but Jonathan England knows him well and he takes on a field in which majority are searching for form. The obvious exception and leading threat is Ribeye, who has clearly been waiting to go chasing. Only 1-17 over hurdles, he's really taken to the larger obstacles and is looking for a third chasing win from just four starts. Ben Haslam does so well with the ammunition he receives from JP McManus and Marshalled has shown steady improvement in his three starts since joining the yard and is shortlisted off his unchanged mark. Limerick Leader has sound each-way claims.
