Verdict

The Black Tiger, whose dam has produced winners with her first seven offspring, hasn't shown much to date but shouldn't be written off. He finished behind Walsingham when Dermot Weld's charge was fourth at Cork and the latter improved slightly when placed at Gowran. Narmar overcame a slow start to finish fourth at Dundalk so should improve and though Just An Hour finished over six lengths behind San Antonio at Dundalk the winner won the Dee Stakes at Chester last week. SIGNATORY looked in need of experience on his debut at Dundalk but made a very promising debut to be beaten half-a-length. The third has won subsequently so John Murphy's charge can go one better. Duke Of Vienna has moved to Jessica Harrington after a promising third for Aidan O'Brien at Naas in October.
