In depth

Verdict

EMILY WADE has displayed solid progression since being stepped up in trip and looks nicely treated off a mark of 87. She'll handle the good ground and gives the impression there's more to come, especially if able to settle a little better than when a Market Rasen runner-up last time. Patrick Wadge, one of the riding finds of last season, is expected to go well on Starlyte, a course and distance winner who now takes a significant drop in grade. Lucinda Russell's mare will also be suited by trip and ground and rates a live danger. Our Laura B has gone really well the last twice and another competitive effort is anticipated despite being upped 7lb for those performances. Toughasoldboots completes the shortlist as she's going the right way and Maggs claims a valuable 10lb.
