Monfils Monfils is worth taking on here with HERRERA and That'll Do Nicely and it is the former who is preferred. Richard Fahey's filly was well-held on her final start last season when she raced on desperate ground at Haydock. She is yet to win in six starts but the drop in trip will help her today and along with the good ground and another year on her back she may take some beating. Destinys Dream has needed the run in the past, Smooth Sovereign doesn't look to be a stable star, whilst That'll Do Nicely was a rare flat runner for Nicky Richards recently and rewarded backers with a good Southwell win. Monfils Monfils won well at Doncaster last weekend but he is an enigmatic customer who needs a strong pace and a big field which doesn't get in his way (doesn't like to be crowded) and with the money down last time it would be foolish to rush in too strongly after the horse has bolted. Chookie Hamilton is consistent and should run his race once again but it is Herrera who is taken to lead them home.
