MINORITY REPORT ran well in defeat last time out and is taken to land this open race at the main expense of We're Delighted, Handsome Falcon and Mr Lu. David Nicholls' gelding is now nine years of age but he showed on his reappearance at Doncaster that he is still worth siding with. He has not had too many races for his age, acts well on this ground and this mark of 80 should not be beyond him (has won off 92 before). Oddsmaker has plenty of experience and has gone well fresh in the past, Wovoka is a bit hit and miss but has claims, whilst Mr Lu is an unexposed gelding who has form on quick ground and he should have no problem with the return to a mile. Tiger Dream tries blinkers having been well-backed at Doncaster on Sunday but after showing up for a fair way he was well-held. Collateral Damage has a tough task on his reappearance, but the stable have started brightly so along with the Tim Walford-trained We're Delighted he goes on the shortlist. Flores Sea seemed to improve for the headgear last time and comes here in good form. A tough race but preference is for Minority Report.
