Nightjar is yet to run well away from Southwell and preference here is for MISTER HARDY ahead of Giganticus. The selection impressed with the way that he quickened away from what looked to be a competitive field just six days ago at Doncaster. His run may be franked by Minority Report in the opener and sure to be hammered by the handicapper for his six length success it is understandable that he is turned out quickly under a 6lb penalty. Giganticus is interesting now dropped in class. His performances last season suggested that he has a big handicap in him and this is a drop in grade for a talented individual. Quest For Success and Sir Xaar need watching in the betting after a break, whilst Kings Point should improve for his recent pipe-opener. Recent all-weather winner Ceremonial Jade is another for consideration but he is better on an artificial surface and is taken on with the impressive Mr Hardy.
