Plenty in with chances in this competitive finale but we'll confine our attention to BILLBERRY, Mazaris and Manhattan Dream with the first named selected. Stuart Williams is in the middle of a purple patch and Billberry scored twice in the space of five days earlier in the month. He only scraped home in his maiden but won with plenty to spare last time and it would be no great surprise if he had a good deal more to offer. He should prove just as effective back on turf and can make the most of the weight that he receives. Manhattan Dream will find this tougher than the races that she's been contesting this term but she's a half-sister to the talented Maids Causeway and may prove capable of better. The handicapper has been fair in his treatment of her and she merits respect. Mazaris has a little more to prove than a few of these but unexposed horses from the Cumani yard are always worth a second look. This is his first start in the handicap ranks and he starts off on a workable mark. The market should guide to his chances and those of our selection, Billberry.
