It's reasonable to expect some improvement from Chambers and Darcey but it may be worth taking a chance with BENYW if the market emits the right signals. James Given has only employed Rosie Jessop on nine occasions this season but the pair have enjoyed success on three occasions and it may be worth taking a chance with this daughter of Noverre who makes some appeal on paper. Chambers is by Green Desert and it's a concern that a number of his progeny fail to handle soft ground. However, Mark Johnston has a great record in this race and the colt made an encouraging debut in a better race than this at Great Leighs. Darcey was friendless in the market at Ripon but will know more now as will Point Of Light whilst Cause For Applause must be of interest on debut. Chambers rates the one to beat but with doubts about the ground we'll suggest Benyw.
