RED MAX is put forward in the hope that he can find some improvement for the switch to racing in nurseries. Woolston Ferry should be in the mix as may The Kyllachy Kid but there are a host of potential improvers. The selection's best performance to date came on debut in a York maiden won by the useful Wildcat Wizard. He may have found the race coming too quickly on his second start before showing a little more in blinkers over five last time. This step up in trip will suit, he may have strengthened up since last seen and could be worth chancing if the market vibes are positive. That comment applies to a few of these who have just had the requisite three runs to qualify for a mark but a few have less to hide. They include Woolston Ferry who was due to race at Yarmouth on Thursday; he should be a player here if allowed to take his chance. The Kyllachy Kid has run four sound races and should be there or thereabouts from a draw that will suit his style of racing. He is vulnerable to an improver though and we'll be hoping that Red Max can fulfil his debut promise.
