Fair Trade and William Van Gogh are the form picks but both may want further than this so we'll side with POINT NORTH in a wide open affair. Frankie Dettori rides our selection who in truth looks a horse who will also be suited by middle-distances, but a mile on debut should be fine and he's choicely bred being a son of Danehill Dancer out of a Saddler's Wells mare. With that in mind he's going to be suited by some cut and with that entirely possible here he gets our vote. William Van Gogh ran a promising race on his debut but failed to step up on that on his second start. It's a slight surprise he's kept to a mile for the time being and this big, imposing sort is best left alone with that in mind. Fair Trade was ahead of the Gosden horse when taking a good second on his debut despite being weak in the market and there should be more to come. He looks a winner-in-waiting but our concern is he may already need 1m2f at least. Eton Forever is from a nice family and the yard have had a few winners already this season whilst Moritani and Colour Scheme are other newcomers to note. Youm Jamil is a stablemate of the last-named and has Fallon in the plate but we'll return to Point North.
