Not a great deal of winning form to work with so JONNY LESTERS HAIR is only a speculative call at the expense of Mr Lu and Nufoudh. A proven seven furlong specialist, Jonny Lesters Hair is on seasonal reappearance though connections could not have hoped to have found such a modest assignment first time out. Mr Lu won at Ayr in October. He has not been seen on the racecourse since unceremoniously unseating the rider on a follow up bid. Nufoudh has a decent jockey booking and has to be respected as a course and distance scorer. Bere Davis has moved yards recently though he and Nuit Sombre are both capable of mixing it from the front at a furious pace. Blue Charm was third at Pontefract on Wednesday so should not want for match fitness. The suspicion is that Mister Jingles is better on an artificial surface. A difficult nightcap and Jonny Lesters Hair gets the nod.
