SNOW BAY missed a tougher assignment earlier in the week and Bryan Smart's patience to see off Beckermet and Deadly Encounter. New tactics have awakened the latent ability of the Bahamian Bounty gelding and unlike many of his progeny, this horse seems perfectly at home on fast ground. He should be capable of progression again. Beckermet has taken on much better opposition. He has been below par on the artificial surfaces and will be suited by a return to turf. Deadly Encounter is tried in first time cheekpieces. He landed plenty of nice bets at Doncaster and appears to be a genuine seven furlong specialist. Dubai Dynamo is very consistent and should be troubling the places. Malcheek seems to show his best form when his hooves can rattle though the handicapper has finally started to propel him back up the weights. Camerooney is fresh from a demolition job in a lady riders handicap. Snow Bay seems best.
