CHARLIE COOL is a speculative pick against Ogre and Fujin Dancer. Ruth Carr's horses did endure a spell in the doldrums but things appear to have picked up for the Stillington handler and with the handicapper dropping Charlie Cool a full 16lb since he appeared York at last autumn. He is off a mark that gives him a chance in handicaps. Ogre has taken on listed opposition in France on her latest start. She is another to have been prolific in claimers. Fujin Dancer won readily at Thirsk over a mile and should have few issues with the extra distance this afternoon. Jewelled Dagger and Grand Diamond return to the flat having ran over hurdles. Sand Tiger has been disappointing on the sand and may be suited by the return to turf. Danehillsundance is much better than the last line of form suggests. Charlie Cool looks to have plenty in his favour and he is accordingly recommended.
