Into The Shadows has proved a moneyspinner for connections and should take the beating in this handicap with Toni Alcala and Plutocrat likely to chase her home. The mare was initially thought of as a National Hunt prospect by the Reveley family and having seen her race, its easy to understand why. Fourteen furlongs might actually be on the short side for her but she stayed on stoutly enough behind Far Pavilions last time out to suggest that she won't be far away. Toni Alcala has not won for some time and while that has to be a worry - he does show up well at this venue and is likely to have been aimed at this race. Plutocrat is a high class hurdler who has every right to take his chance here. Lenny Lungo has had a couple of winners of late so any market confidence factor will be of significant interest. Hugs Destiny isn't quite up to the standard of his half-brother Hugs Dancer but his trainer is sending out winners. Mana d'Argent is better known as an Ascot specialist and has shown little recent sparkle even when dropped in grade over the winter. Into The Shadows looks to have a decent chance on the book and she should prove good enough on the racecourse this afternoon.
